I have been collecting antique radios for several years. It seems my interest started when I was a teenager and my dad showed me how to make a crystal radio. We lived in Edmond, Oklahoma at that time. I listened to that crystal radio every night when I went to bed. I can remember hooking the antenna to the screen on my bedroom window, connecting the small earphone to my ear and listening to all of the old radio programs that were popular in the '40's and '50s. A couple of years later, my dad brought home an old radio chassis that had 3 short wave bands and a broadcast band. There was no name on the radio chassis that I remember but, I sure had a lot of fun experimenting and listening to it. I have been a member of Antique Radio Classified "ARC" for about 10 years. I have met a lot of wonderful people during my collecting experiences at radio shows, garage sales, pawn shops, church bazaar sales, etc.

My webpage was designed with the help of Jon Stanley and myself. He did the HTML postings with my pictures & my design. If you would like to contact him, he can be reached at Philcogrump@aol.com. To see more of his work look at Electronixandmore.com. Please take your time and enjoy my website, while you are here you can sign my guest book and leave me any comments that you have. If you are interested in purchasing any of my radios, just let me know what your interested in and we can talk about it. Thanks for stopping by...Rick Heafner
